Rosacea's Effect On The Eyes

Rosacea can cause a persistent burning and feeling of sand or grittiness in the eyes.  It may also result in inflamed and swollen eyelids with small inflamed bumps, eye lashes may fall out, or even the appearance of  bloodshot eyes.  The term ocular rosacea covers all these symptoms. The ocular complications are independent of the severity of facial rosacea.
